Restoration
The restoration of this imposing house was begun in the summer of 2004 and has been both thorough and extensive. Because of its Grade 1 listed status all work has been painstakingly researched and agreed with English Heritage and the house we see today is the result of this on-going collaboration. While much work continues to be done, the Mansion House is complete and offers a level of comfort and style commensurate with its historical status.
